It isn't 1 of ACAD's stronger plotter formats. Both will give a better result than editing a JPG and saving it again. JPGs are a mpg.pc3 file and everytime you save it you loss a bit of detail. jph.pc3 i was plotting to *.pdf i use to plot to an jpg.oc3 file (which is vector based).this way i can embed the line weight with it. the psout was an option prior to version 2002 however the file did not include any line weights unless they were given via a pline width.if you want to create a plotter for the postscript print use any of the adboe postscript options.they all work well with p-shop but some types are not readable by other software apps.when import postscript files into photshop it will ask for a resolution and it with then rasterise the file.just a good alternative to *.pdf printing.
